Unique Student Identifier (USI)

ATTENTION APPRENTICES AND TRAINEES:

From 1st January 2015 all students will be required to have a USI number

If you are enrolling or re-enrolling to complete a course in 2015, you will be required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) prior to enrolling / re-enrolling.

Your USI will keep your training records and results together in an online account so that you may access your records at your own convenience. Even if you enrol with a new training organisation or in a different course, you records will be updated with the results from each training organisation that you enrol with.

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELLOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR USI BY THE 1ST JANUARY 2015… IT’S EASY!

STEP 1: You will need to have at least one form of ID ready (driver’s licence, Australian passport, Medicare card, birth certificate etc.)

STEP 2: Have your personal contact details ready – place of birth, address, email, contact number, etc.

STEP 3: Visit www.usi.gov.au and click on ‘Create a USI’
