The Building project is also providing a valuable learning experience and training for many local apprentices who will have either worked on-site or on the supply of products and services required to support the construction. Students from local schools who may be considering a future in the building industry are being given the opportunity to assist with work on the new building through VET in schools programs which gives them practical exposure to the industry.
